Gynura - Black Love Flower; Known as 'black love flower', 'purple marigold', 'purple passion', ginura (gynura) is a wonderful indoor ornamental plant. It also grows outdoors, in hanging pots. Ginura is a tropical plant native to South East Asia. It grows quickly, vertically, up to 1 meter in length. It is mostly grown for its velvety, green, purple hairy leaves. Ginura is an easy-care flower. It likes bright and humid places with plenty of light, does not like direct sun. In the shade, the leaves lose their beauty. It likes humus, acidic, moist and permeable soils. It requires regular and plentiful water in the summer, but care must be taken as over-watering causes root rot. New plants can be produced from the cut branches (The cut branches can be planted directly or by rooting in water).
